There has been rapid development in thermal system modelling in recent decades. Therefore, the industry needs continuing education in the most modern techniques in the field.

Understanding thermal system modelling has become increasingly important in recent years in connection with the green transition, where we need to establish very complex and interconnected energy systems in a very short time.

The module introduces the application of system modelling and determination of thermal properties.

Students are introduced to fundamental heat transfer and fluid dynamics applied in thermal system modelling, as well as systematic methods and modern advanced tools used for thermal system modelling.
