There has been rapid development in the modelling of electrical energy systems in recent decades. Therefore, the industry needs continuing education in the most modern techniques in the field.

Understanding electrical system modelling has become increasingly important in recent years in connection with the green transition, where we need to establish very complex and interconnected energy systems in a very short time.

The module introduces the fundamental aspects of modelling DC and AC circuits and networks, as well as their application in system modelling.

Students are introduced to the fundamental aspects of electrical machines and electrical energy storage and transmission, including some of the fundamental aspects of controlling and regulating such systems.
