The information meeting
Thomas Bjørnholm, Executive Chief Scientific Officer at VILLUM FONDEN & VELUX FONDEN and Michel M.H. Kristensen, Head of the VILLUM Young Investigator programme, will join us to share information about the nature of the programme and the current call.

If you are interested in knowing more about this early stage PI-driven career grant within the natural and technical sciences, and have an excellent track record with a ground breaking research idea then learn more about the programme!

The VILLUM Young Investigator Programme
"The Villum Foundation aims to support with this programme early career researchers with ambitions of creating their own, independent research indentity, and with the potential to significantly contribute to research in technical and natural sciences at a Danish institution"

Who can apply to the YIP programme?
The ideal applicant is an exceptionally talented young researcher within technical and natural sciences. Applicants must have between two and eight years of research experience after completion of their PhD. You may apply a total of two times for a Villum Young Investigator grant.

When?
The programme is announced once a year in open competition, with an application deadline in June, and a final decision in December.
