In December 2024 CESAER published a report titled Research careers: A critical choice for Europe" presenting results, findings and recommendations from a CESAER career survey. The report features concrete recommendations for the European Commission, for national and regional governments, and funding agencies as well as for universities and research organisations. The recommendations are based on background knowledge of the current state of research careers at Euorpean Universities as well as 3 separate analyses covering European and national initiatives for supporting research careers as well as initiatives by universities of science and technology.
