“I am motivated by leading where technical and medical expertise merge. Innovation is not the goal, but a means to create real value for patients and for society,” says Christian Brink Scholz.
With the new university hospital, the department is located physically close to both the Department of Clinical Medicine and the hospital campus. This close proximity is a major advantage for collaboration, and Christian Brink Scholz is looking forward to strengthening collaboration between the department’s staff and the clinical specialties.
“I look forward to strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, where the department can continue to be internationally leading within both education, research, and digital health.”
Christian Brink Scholz has strong ties to Northern Jutland, where he has previously lived and worked as a doctor. He describes it as a personal pleasure to return to the region and contribute to the continued development of the university.
Christian has eight years of experience from Novo Nordisk in Denmark, the United States, and Switzerland. He takes up the position on 1 May.
