On 17 April, staff, students and AAU's partners will gather in Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre to celebrate the academic year. Invitations with a link to ticket sales are sent to all staff and students' AAU email, and ticket sales open on 17 March. A limited number of tickets are available, and tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

The evening's program offers a number of high-powered artists, each of whom puts their stamp on the festivities. Read more about them below:

Christopher

Christopher is one of Denmark's biggest pop names, and at AAU Annual Celebration 2026, he will take to the stage with the energy, presence and hits that have taken him to all the way to the international pop scene.

With 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, sold-out concerts and a wide range of radio favourites, Christopher has long since cemented his position at the top of Danish pop. His musical journey has also unfolded as a personal story where audiences have watched him grow from a promising young talent to a mature artist through his open and honest lyrics.

Since his debut in 2012, and his breakthrough with songs like "Against the Odds" and "CPH Girls", he has distinguished himself as both a sharp songwriter and a performer who puts on a show with an explosive energy felt all the way in the back rows.

2026 promises to be a record year for Christopher where just one month after the AAU Annual Celebration he gives his biggest concert to date in Valby for an audience of 30,000.

KRYD

KRYD consists of four strong front figures: Signe, Maria, Anne Sofie and Viktoria, who together have made a significant imprint on the Danish pop scene.

With around 32,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and regular appearances at summer festivals, they have already made their mark on the Danish music scene, and in March 2026, they will play at Train in Aarhus, Skråen in Aalborg and in DR Koncerthuset, among other venues.

KRYD is a band where all four members share the front role, featuring the collective rather than individual performances. On stage, they deliver an energetic set filled with harmonies, attitude and strong vocals where all members both sing and play.

Musically, they draw inspiration from names like Molly Sandén, Haim, Taylor Swift, Shit & Chanel and Holly Humberstone, and their mission is clear: to lift each other up and inspire others to do the same.

Ozzy

Ozzy is one of the most prominent new voices in Danish hip hop and is looking at a big year with concerts at Store VEGA and at SMUKFEST 2026, among other venues.

Since his debut with "Samme side" in 2023, he has gained over 300,000 monthly listeners and performed across the country along with some of the biggest Danish names.

His music is hard to put in a box, and that's exactly the point. Ozzy mixes hip hop with elements from RnB, house, bossa nova and future bass, and his voice serves as the supporting instrument in a unique sound universe.

His lyrics are self-reflective and honest, often structured as an internal conversation where ambitions, doubts and reality mirror each other line by line.

His unique mix of genres, personality and presence has made him one of the most exciting new artists on the Danish music scene, and now also part of the AAU Annual Celebration.
