Facility Support and Summer Building Closures in Aalborg

Changed Opening Hours

From July 8, 2024, to August 11, 2024, Facility Support will not have regular opening hours. This means we will only be available in the office by appointment.

To ensure you receive the necessary assistance, we recommend contacting us in advance. You can reach us during regular working hours at 99403333 or via email at facilitysupport@adm.aau.dk. We are ready to assist with any questions or needs you may have.

AAU Booking Closure

Please note that AAU Booking will be completely closed during weeks 29 and 30. If you need to make reservations or have questions regarding bookings, we recommend doing so before or after this period.

Mail and Packages

During July and August, there will be no collection or delivery of mail and packages. To ensure your mail is handled correctly, you can pick up and drop off mail and packages at our Facility Support offices at Frederik Bajers Vej 1 or Rendsburggade 14 by appointment.

New Mail Handling Procedure from September 1, 2024
Please be aware that from September 1, 2024, there will be changes in mail collection at all AAU addresses in Aalborg. Further details can be found on this page under the "letters" section.

Summer building closures

All exterior doors to university buildings will be locked from week 27 to week 31 (July 1 - August 4).

Students and staff with a valid AAU card will still be able to access the buildings. To enter, simply swipe your card at the card reader.

Remember that outside normal working hours, you will also need to enter your PIN. This measure is in place to enhance campus security during the summer period.

Summer cafeteria closures

It is also important to note that meeting catering will not be available when the cafeterias are closed.

Here is an overview of the cafeteria closure periods:

Copenhagen and Esbjerg

• Copenhagen: The cafeteria will be closed from week 27 to week 32 (July 1 – August 9)
• Esbjerg: The cafeteria will be closed from week 27 to week 34 (July 1 - August 23)

Aalborg

• FIB15: Closed from week 29 to week 31 (July 15 – August 2)
• Rendsburggade and Selma Lagerløfs Vej 300: Closed from week 27 to week 34 (July 1 - August 23)
• Frederik Bajers Vej 7, Kroghstræde 3, and Selma Lagerløfs Vej 249: Closed from week 27 to week 33 (July 1 - August 16)
• Thomas Mans Vej 25: Closed from week 28 to week 30 (July 8 – July 26).
