Associate Professor Bente Nørgaard from the Department of Sustainability and Planning at Aalborg University has been named a Fellow of SEFI. This is an honorary award from the European Society for Engineering Education, given to individuals who have made a significant and long-term contribution to engineering education in Europe and globally.

At the award ceremony, Bente was highlighted as a “Champion of Continuing Education, Problem-Based Learning, and global capacity building – a cornerstone of the SEFI community for 25+ years.”

Being named a Fellow of SEFI is one of the most prestigious recognitions in engineering education in Europe and is only awarded to individuals who have had a significant impact on the field over many years.
