- It’s very good news that we are now open to more international students at Danish universities. It’s good news for the universities, for the students, for the business community and not least for Denmark, says Pro-rector Anne Marie Kanstrup.

As the Minister for Higher Education and Science, Christina Egelund, states in the press release from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, talented international students are in great demand throughout the country, and a small, open economy like Denmark’s needs the new ideas and thinking that international students bring.

- AAU is an international university that is regionally and nationally anchored, and our international students strengthen the study environment, diversity, the Danish economy and the business community. The fact that we have reached an agreement on more English-language study places is not least due to the effective cooperation in the national committee on the reform of the Master’s degree programmes and with the ministry, says Anne Marie Kanstrup.

The implementation of the study places for 2024 is based on input from the national committee on the reform of the Master’s degree programmes and the committee partnership.
